พื้นฐานการดูแลสุขภาพสัตว์เลี้ยงแสนรัก วัคซีนป้องกันโรคควรทำให้ครบตามโปรแกรม การถ่ายพยาธิและยาหยอดกำจัดเห็บหมัดควรทำประจำ ควรปรึกษาสัตวแพทย์ เพราะการป้องกันคือการเสียเงินที่ไม่แพง แต่ถ้าปล่อยให้ป่วยขึ้นมาจะเสียทั้งทรัพย์ และสุดท้ายอาจเสียสัตว์เลี้ยงไปด้วย
